In Memory of John Parris

John Parris lived and worked in Essex County, New Jersey. He studied film and animation at the Philadelphia College of Art and graduated with a BFA in sculpture from the University of Delaware in 1983. Since then, Parris
made and exhibited sculpture and installations in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York.  During this time Parris was selected for a Yaddo residency twice, was included in New Jersey Fine Arts Annual four times and exhibited at the Newark Museum, the Jersey City Museum and Montclair Art Museum. Parris showed at 490 Atlantic Gallery in Brooklyn.
