I am coordinating a "basket" from Manufacturer's Village residents/artists that will be raffled off at the upcoming Montclair Art Museum Luncheon in May and wanted to invite all members to participate.
There's an established format for this part of the event and in order to make this workable I'd like to request anyone interested consider:
1. you'll provide a small piece of art or art object donation (think note cards, a small 5" x 5" or smaller work, home goods if that's what you do, a mug, a piece of jewelry) 1 object per artist/resident
2. all objects will be assembled in one Manufacturer's Village basket that will be displayed at the luncheon, along with other themed baskets
3. if you've experienced a tricky tray - that's essentially how this works
Unfortunately, there is no silent art auction with this event like the museum had for UnCorked in December, so I thought this would be an opportunity for people who would like to be a part of the event to participate.
I'll have forms for you to fill out if you wish to participate and will post a due date/location to drop items off (probably by May 1).
