What are you working on right now?

I am working on a series of paintings about touch. I miss hugging people so all of my paintings are figures entwined in precarious ways .
The first week in October my first children' s book, Lubaya’s Quiet Roar is out in the bookstores. Paintings by me,words by Marilyn Nelson.

What would you like to say about Manufacturers Village Artist Community?

Having the studio during this uncertain time has been the one thing that has sustained me, nurtured me and given order to chaos.
Knowing that we are all here creating no matter what the world is throwing at us gives me hope.

What's next for you?

I am tentatively scheduled for a one person show in San Fransisco in January 2021, a show at the Newark Academy Gallery Spring 2021, June Kelly Gallery October 2021.
