For over 20 years, Manufacturers Village has been a hub for the visual arts in East Orange. We’ve hosted annual Open Studio events and public art projects, fostering creative exchange and community engagement.

This year we are proud to present 'Local Currents: An East Orange Artist Invitational Exhibition' at 356 Franklin Street.  It's also the fifth anniversary of our Black Lives Matter mural, organized by MVA and created by 16 artists from the East Orange community.  Please be sure to stop in to see the exhibition, and visit one of the few remaining BLM murals on the East Coast.

In 2024 we transitioned into a nonprofit organization with a bold new mission: to create a year-round art center that offers studio spaces, workshops, and exhibition opportunities for local artists and residents. To make this vision a reality, we need support.

Contributions play a critical role in sustaining our creative community and advancing key initiatives, including our bi-annual Open Studios events, the annual Garden State Art Weekend, and community programs developed in partnership with the City of East Orange.

Every donation brings us closer to realizing this exciting new vision for Manufacturers Village. Join us in building a dynamic art center that enriches our local community and ensures a thriving future for the arts in East Orange.
