Ann Antoshak is a figurative painter whose work explores themes of motherhood, loss, identity,
and memory. Drawing from personal history, family narratives, and photographic source material,
she creates emotionally resonant paintings that examine the complexities of caregiving, familial
relationships, and the ways experiences are carried across generations. Her work combines observational realism with symbolic and dreamlike elements, creating spaces where memory and imagination intersect.

Antoshak earned her BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art, where she studied painting,
printmaking, photography, and graphic design. Her work has been exhibited New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. In summer 2025, she was awarded the Special Project Residency at Arts 14C and is currently a participant in The Canopy Program, a year-long critique and mentorship program based in Chelsea, New York. In summer 2026, she was a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.

Antoshak lives and works in the NYC metro area, where she also serves as Art Director for
Seton Hall University.
