John Parris

John Parris lives and works in Essex County, New Jersey. He studied film and animation at the Philadelphia College of Art and graduated with a BFA in sculpture from the University of Delaware in 1983. Since then, Parris has been making and exhibiting sculpture and installations in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. During this time Parris has been selected for a Yaddo residency twice, was included in New Jersey Fine Arts Annual four times and has exhibited at the Newark Museum, the Jersey City Museum and Montclair Art Museum. Parris currently shows at 490 Atlantic Gallery in Brooklyn.
