Sarah Canfield

Sarah Canfield is an artist working in oils, pastels, mixed media and sculpture. She has exhibited widely in galleries, museums and nonprofit spaces, including her recent inclusion in the Personal Landscapes exhibition at the Montclair Art Museum and the 2020 New Jersey Arts Annual at the Morris Museum. Additional exhibition venues have included the Pennsylvania State Museum, the Woodmere Art Museum, the Berman Museum, Montclair State University, the Noyes Museum and the Google corporate offices in New York City. Solo exhibitions have included the Visual Art Center of New Jersey, the Newark Academy and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has been the recipient of project grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and her work has appeared in the New York Times and Philadelphia Inquirer. She received her BFA in painting, cum laude, from Alfred University. She is a faculty member at the Visual Art Center of New Jersey and the Montclair Art Museum.
